Meet Dr. Don Oh

Dr. Don Oh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the only certifying board in the specialty that is recognized by the American Orthodontics Association. Not all Orthodontists are Board Certified Orthodontists. Only a select few have achieved Board Certification by the American Board of Orthodontics. As a Board-Certified Orthodontist, Dr. Oh pursues excellence in every step of his patients’ orthodontic care.

Dr. Oh attended Columbia University School of Orthodontics and Oral Surgery in New York City, currently Columbia College of Orthodontics Medicine, for his dental education. After achieving a Doctor of Orthodontics Surgery degree from Columbia, Dr. Oh attended General Practice Residency at Harvard School of Orthodontics Medicine and Cambridge Health Alliance in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Oh then practiced in private practices located in Concord and Lexington, Massachusetts. During his residency and private practice, his interest in orthodontics grew as he witnessed how orthodontics can improve the quality of life for his patients by providing healthy and conservative treatment as well as aesthetic improvement. Once Dr. Oh decided that orthodontics was the profession that he would commit himself to, he pursued further training in orthodontics and was accepted into the Orthodontic Residency Program at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.

After finishing his training in orthodontics and practicing in the greater Boston area for a number of years afterward, Dr. Oh decided to come back to New Jersey where his family and friends are nearby. Dr. Oh feels privileged to be back in New Jersey and to serve the community of Montvale and the cities nearby.

Dr. Oh currently travels to Boston regularly to serve as a Clinical Faculty at Harvard School of Orthodontics Medicine to share his orthodontic knowledge and experience with orthodontic residents.
